Buzzard is a native of southeast Kansas where she grew up rodeoing and showing livestock with her family. She is currently a graduate research assistant at Kansas State University and is pursuing a Master's in Animal Science with an emphasis on Animal Behavior and Well-Being. Additionally, she maintains her own blog, Buzzard’s Beat, blogs for Food For Thought and also works part time for Ag Am in Kansas. Upon graduation, Buzzard hopes to serve as a liaison to the public about livestock management practices and animal well-being. Buzzard enjoys rodeoing, advocating for agriculture and spending time with her family.
