Jessica Lester is co-owner of Shady Ridge Polled Herefords a registered Polled Hereford cow/calf operation in South Louisiana. Shady Ridge focuses on show heifers and bulls through the use of Artificial Insemination and Embryo Transfer. Lester recently graduated from McNeese State University with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences with concentrations in Animal Science and Equine Science. While there she was a member of Block and Bridle and the Livestock Judging team. She is currently interning with Genex in Wisconsin. Her future plans include securing a career in the cattle industry and becoming advocate for cattlemen throughout the world.
